BYD Shark 6 Accessories: Floor Mats and Tub Liner for the Ute
A plug-in hybrid ute gets used like a ute — which means the interior and the tray both cop it. Here is what currently fits the BYD Shark 6, and why the tray is where most owners should spend first.
Start with the tray
The Shark 6 tub liner is a moulded mat with a diamond-pattern surface, listed for 2024-on cars and fitting both left- and right-hand-drive builds.
The argument for a tub liner is straightforward. A bare tray gets scratched by the first load of anything — tools, timber, gravel, a bike that shifts. Those scratches go through the coating, and once moisture reaches bare metal the clock starts. A liner takes that damage instead, and the diamond pattern gives loads something to grip rather than letting them slide to the tailgate every time you brake.
It also makes the tray easier to clear out. Sweeping or hosing a moulded surface is a two-minute job; getting dried mud out of a ribbed factory tray is not.
Floor mats: two versions, same fit
Two three-piece floor mat sets are listed for the Shark 6, both moulded for 2024–2025 right-hand drive cars: driver, front passenger, and a single moulded rear section covering the whole second-row footwell.
The difference between them is the top surface. One is the moulded tray on its own — waterproof, raised edges, hose it out. The other adds a coil-type carpet layer over the tray, which looks closer to factory trim and takes some edge off road noise.
For a working ute, the bare tray is the sensible pick — boots come back muddy and you want to be able to lift the mats out and hose them without thinking about drying time. If the Shark 6 is doing family duty during the week and only occasionally hauling, the carpet version keeps the cabin feeling less like a work truck.
Right-hand drive is not optional here
Both mat sets are moulded specifically for right-hand drive. This is not a formality — the driver's mat has to clear the accelerator and brake and leave the dead pedal usable, and a left-hand-drive mat flipped over puts the contours on the wrong side. A mat that can move around the pedal box is a safety issue, particularly in a vehicle this heavy.
The tub liner is symmetrical, so it is listed for both steering sides.

Buying order
Tub liner first — it protects the surface that gets damaged fastest and costs the most to repair properly. Floor mats second. If the ute is mostly a family car that occasionally works, reverse that order.
